I detest the guy but he will go down as a legend, one of the most talented we will ever see, and such a unique fighter.

I think a lot of the frustration we have with him now will dissipate.

I think the role of being the figurehead of the sport doesn't work for him, or for us. It leads to the poisonous atmosphere we have now. Once he retires, we'll be able to evaluate outside of that context.

      Wifey: "Who's that guy?"

Hubby: "Oh that's the guy who ducked Pacquiao."

That's generally how he would be remembered.

130-135 are his best weights where he has his best wins
that's what he'll be remembered for
in present context, he's hated for being a chickenshit
once he leaves for good, people will go back to liking him for his prime

Father: He's the guy that fought Cotto.

            Kids: When?

            Father: In 2012.

His only good win at 130-135 was Corrales. Anyone that says Manfredy, Chavez, Hernandez, or JLC are straight Fowmos.

Thank you. This is the truth, and nothing but the truth.

When you thinj greatness you think...Michael Jordan, Muhammed Ali, Michael Phelps, Tiger Woods, Roger Federer, ...they had that magestic champion feel about them who were not afraid to be great.

floyd on the other hand....was like a lawyer trying ti tell us he was great, by fighting not the best or when they were no longer at their prime.
I think he will be remembered as potentially being the greatest but did not take enough risky fights whenever a new legit challenger arised
