    A man with unfulfilled potential.
A man who was happy to stay in weak divisions defending his belts or fighting for belts against relatively weak opposition, albeit not fighting and defending much while doing so.

When a seriously great opponent in Pac came along, Floyd was lucky to have the opportunity to fight a guy like Pac, but passed it up and missed the opportunity.....never convinced anyone he showed any real sense of urgency to get the fight made.

Someone who could of been the greatest ever but preferred to cherry pick his opponents.

Now that there are a few nice challenges in the 154 division like against canelo and trout, Floyd and his fans say he should stay at 147 in a weak division and fight there as Floyd is a 147 guy we are led to believe.

Floyd got luck, a great 147 fighter named Pac came along at the right time, Floyd passed the challenge and opportunity of a lifetime up.
Now its the likes of Guerrero, a decent enough opponent but historically of no significance.

Historically it has been easy and many champions have stayed in weak divisions defending their belts....no big deal really. But the thing with Floyd is he hasnt fought or defended his belts much at all. How many fights at 147 has he had....not many if you ask me or anyone.....and in a weak division at least floyd could be fighting weak opponents often.
Couldnt even be bothered to do that FLoyd. Too busy spending his money and training to actually fight. Training for a fight that is never going to happen.

The man that kept boxing alive for the last ten years and one of best to do it in my eyes and for my generation along with Roy jones....he might've passed up some fights but he handled business with what he had in front of him every time ......

Well if him fighting just 4 times in 6 years (while others fought 13 times or more) keep boxing alive for the last 10 years so be it.

One of the greatest pound for pound fighters to ever live. Not THE greatest, though.

Floyd is a great boxer, but I don't like when people say don't judge him on other things. Sometimes you have to. Yes, I know I don't know the guy personally, but to beat up the mother of your children in front of them and among the other things he's done, then what's that say about your character? He's an immature clown, and he's not a good person. As far as in the ring, he'll be known for the big fights he didn't take more than his actual opposition.
