I don't know Rome... I think the option that looks pretty good to me is Shawn Porter. He has a great jab, descent stamina (iirc), good power and can cut off the ring pretty well. Shawn Porter is the better version of Maidana IMO. (Maidana's stamina has always driven me nuts!). Plus, it seems like Porter is pretty good as well at not allowing his opponents to tie him up too easily. I actually think Porter could take it, and it's definately time for his Team to step him up in the opponents selection department.

I don't understand why Shaefer is floating Berto's name as a potential replacement when he has the Soto Karass fight lined up already. Shawn Porter is boring and if you put him in with Devon it will possibly put everyone asleep and they will miss Matthysse-Peterson! The Brook fight was interesting despite Alexander being a part of it but now going with the likely Senchencko it is a predictable outcome. It might not be a bad fight for Devon to take though because he could look sensational and KO Vyacheslav.

Berto vs Alexander would be fireworks! They both throw bombs and they both can be hit. Porter Alexander would be exciting as well. All of these guys have fast hands and decent power. It would be a very entertaining night.
