I say Trout by decision! But this is a pick em fight. Who has Canelo beaten to make him a big favourite in this fight? I think Trouts win over Cotto is a bigger acomplishment than anything Canelo has done so far! Cotto is past prime but hes by far not as shot as Shane Mosley and he gave Mayweather the hardest fight in years. Somehow i think Trout will finally end the canelo-hypejob. I also predicted that Rigo would beat Donaire.

I fully agree with your take on this fight, Canelo in for trouble once fight reaches round 7 and the punches he took start to accumulate. Just wanted to say though, your present fighters you like list is on point minus that loaf Chad Dawson. I kno.. completely off topic, but that guy really sucks. I used to rate him until he proved he was soft and made excuses for losses. What a real herb that guy is..

The fact that he's even won 41 fights and 0 losses, but an old Mosley and a whatever aged self destructive Kermit Cintron are the two biggest names on his resume speaks for itself. Well Hatton IS a big name... but NOT MATTHEW!

I like Canelo, I just feel he's been protected and iv'e been waiting for him to step up to the plate for a real challenge. The fact that it's Trout is a bad look for him to start with IMO but we'll have to see how it all pan's out.
