Same sort of fans who were on here predicting ludacris 1st round KO's for Donaire and same sort of fans on here right now crying about it and making excuses, saying Rigo ran.... Only running that happened was Donaire... He ran into the wrong motherfu$$er, than ran into his fist a few times for good measure. Bahahaha!

How was Rigo ever at anything other than an A+ for speed?

Had to see it against someone else with really great speed for the "+"

I have watched the fight like 6 times now altogether and I've set my Verizion FIOS to watch it again at 11:00 p.m. tonight. Donaire nearly got his head knocked off his shoulders in round 10 by the concussive counter punches of Rigo - the echo reverberated like surround sound. He got anxious and desperate and Rigo set traps for him with his defensive ring generalship then fired fierce power shots into his face several times - again and again. By catching Donaire coming in that is the best way to maximize counter shot. Donaire's eye got busted open in the final round by Rigo using that exact strategy.

Listen to round 10 again with the volume on 66 or 75 and the sound of those counter left hands landed with bad intentions into Donaire's face - without that knockdown Rigo wins that round easily.
CHURCH!!! As stated in a previous post, Rigo made Donaire pay for getting excited about that KD and countered the excitment right out of him, humbled him right back onto the defensive.

I was never a huge fan of either guy but I expected Donaire to win by KO. Rigo put on one of the most masterful boxing clinics I've ever seen against a vicious puncher and top p4p fighter. Anyone who thinks this fight was even close is delusional or simply consumed with ethnic pride. Kind of like the many posters who think Pacquiao "won" because he was ahead by a point when he got iced.

The writer makes a good point. The few rounds that were boring, that was Donut-Aire's fault. He was so confused from the opening bell, what else could he do? This was one of the best lessons in boxing I have seen in 50 years of watching fights. Can't wait for the rematch.

I KNOCKDOWN = 1 PUNCH; That's 2 pts advantage in Judges score card, if you scored a knockdown; it wasn't a cheap shot, as Ref. & Floyd jr., used to say "Always protect yourself at all times!"

Make no mistake: that was a complete undressing of one of the most accomplished fighters of the last six years. Those who wondered if Rigondeaux, at 11-0, was taking too big a step up in competition saw that thinking turned on its ear. [Click Here To Read More]

Somebody please tell me what shoes Rigo was wearing, I need to get me some of those because I'm training for a half-marathon. Thanks.
