Danny Garcia vs. Zab Judah Predictions & Info

Garcia is one of those guys networks love to pump. Great talent, very vulnerable, not great at anything so you can see why people could exaggerate their advantages over him. After all of that, he's still champ. I like to root against him because his flaws are so evident, but I like him bc he wins despite his flaws. I wish him the best.

this was a great great fight i really enjoyed it. Garcia-Judah and Bradley-Provodnikov I did not expect that good of action going into it but they were both fantastic fights

Judah outlanded him (compubox) in R.7 I believe. Rounds 1 and 3 were very close imo.

Would love to watch the post-fight presser to see if Angel talks any ish, I think he made that harder on his son, Zab would have quit against anyone else.

Compubox is bull**** and completely inaccurate, especially in judah's case. Most of what he landed in those rounds were air jabs, while Garcia clearly landed the hard punches

115-112 Garcia, however Garcia was the clear winner IMO. Really enjoyed that fight, which was a pleasant surprise.

Zab revitalized himself a bit tonight. I think he should fight Mayfield/Olusegun, or maybe GBP could use him as a stepping stone for Omar Figueroa.

Zab comes out and gets hyped up by the crowd...wins the first few rounds...and in the 5th round... BOOM...he gets caught by a right hand...not a left hook...a RIGH HAND(mark that down)....flash KD...gets back up and tries to ride his bike outta BK back to Vegas...Danny will be chasing his hoe ass around the Barclay's all night....but thats nothing new for NY's so called gangsters...Philly dudes have always chased them off their own blocks ...ask Frank Lucas and Nicky Barnes snitch asses about Bo Baines and Sam Chrisitian...history will repeat itself in that sense

I'm undecided on this bout.. I originally was hoping for a Zab victory to shut down Garcia, but kids starting to grow on me. He showed he has heart in that Khan fight (was being beat down before that nasty left hook). I think Zab will be more cautious for that blow though and avoid it, boxing himself to a very close UD victory (assuming we get a focused, more motivated Zab). But, like Philly said.. If he feels the power and gets on his bike, it's gonna be an ugly night in Brooklyn.

I'll be watching for that right hand too.

He did avoid the left, I didn't see a single hook land (may have missed it), which even surprised me.

Don't be surprised if Judah causes some problems for Garcia. Judah is still good, not prime, but still has skills. Enough to make Garcia look bad at the least for a few rounds. But you have to feel Garcia will land a game changer, especially on Judah who usually s**ts out in big fights after the first 3-4 rounds. Garcia by TKO in 8. Fight will be generally even at that point though, 4-3 Judah or 4-3 Garcia at the time of stoppage.

Decent share of Judah UD votes, like 4Corners said he's still good, he has skills, but he's past prime. It all depends on if that Garcia bomb lands or not.

He did get hurt, but when he let his hands go, it produced results. Not enough tho. Some good, interesting predictions in this thread. Thuggery, great idea on making this info thread.

I can't the find the thread, I checked my post history, but it didn't go back far enough - I wanted to see what I said word for word when the fight was announced. As I recall, I was in a small debate with a fellow active poster at the time and I basically said that 'Judah will do well until he gets caught [...] the speed difference will be apparent' and I believe the other guy said Judah's not going to do well at all. Anyways, I'm starting to think he'll do more than just well in the beginning...maybe get the victory. Perhaps I'm over thinking certain aspects of their styles and I'll admit I may be purposely forgetting that Zab isn't the same fighter, but I'm gradually liking his chances.

I guess it breaks down to orthodox versus southpaw, for me. I'm not sure how good Garcia's right hand is. It appears solid, don't get me wrong, but I think he swings it a bit wide. I'm starting to think Judah can take away Danny's left, and when he does, how will Danny adjust? He's been left hand dominant lately and I can't help but consider that. Danny does have a few things going for him; it looks like he has the kind of left hand that can negate everything that happened before it landed. He appears to be a physically strong guy...I don't know how much he rehydrates to, but I think he will be visibly bigger than Judah on fight night. And I haven't forgotten Judah's tendencies and overall history, but I do believe Judah has the capability to take away Danny's left hand and I don't think he's worried about Danny's right. I'm predicting Zab wins enough rounds to get the victory...8-4.

edit: let me also add that I predict Garcia throws a few shots below the belt when he's not liking what's being dished his way.

Well, I underestimated Garcia's right hand. It came through as the primary weapon and hurt Zab on a few occasions. He did take Danny's left away....**** y'all, I take any victory I can get

The complete absence of the left hook, which is obviously money punch, was interesting.

I thought the game plan (once I had seen a couple of rounds) would be to be right-hand heavy but drop the left in eventually. Never came. Maybe they were saving it for late but he was tired/hurt by then.

I sorta felt they were experimenting tonight too, to ensure he doesn't become dependent on his left-hook.
