The complete absence of the left hook, which is obviously money punch, was interesting.

I thought the game plan (once I had seen a couple of rounds) would be to be right-hand heavy but drop the left in eventually. Never came. Maybe they were saving it for late but he was tired/hurt by then.

I sorta felt they were experimenting tonight too, to ensure he doesn't become dependent on his left-hook.

Not really....The left hook is pretty hard to land/unusable on a southpaw. Had Zab been a righty he would have been throwing it often like against Khan

Where does the Lamont Peterson love come from? he lost against Bradley, drew with Ortiz and imo lost against Khan while juiced up. Who has he actually beaten?

Once Garcia faces a guy who's not scared of his counters he's in trouble. He gets hit a lot if a guy has the courage to come right back at him. I think I know just the guy for the job too..

Garcia beat Judah alot more convincingly than Matthyse did....

The guy to beat Garcia is Peterson and (hypothetically) Alvarado....Rios and Matthyse would lose 100 percent to Danny.


Garcia wasn't throwing his trademark left hook because that punch is rarely effective against a Southpaw.

Gavin Rees's handspeed was able to get inside on Broner, I think Judah could manage something similar but with power.

Gavin Rees is also a 2 foot tall Midget and you could tell that Broner was having trouble dealing with a guy so short and having to punch so far downward...That won't be the case with Judah who is of normal height.

Matthysse has to be the most overrated fighter in Boxing along with Golovkin. Peterson is going to whoop his ass...

Yep...I've noticed that all the idiots seem to constantly overrated the "unknown" or "exotic" fighters from cool random countries....that aren't typical in the boxing scene (aka not Mexico, Puerto Rico, UK or US)

If Matthyse or Golovkin weren't from relatively unaccomplished (boxing wise) countries that make them seem exotic and cool they wouldn't get anywhere near the hype that they do.

And everyone just blindly hates on Garcia because they hate his Dad...That should be pretty obvious and it's also pathetic...Judge a boxer based on how he BOXES not how arrogant he is (and Danny isn't arrogant...its just his father) or how his dad is.

Same with Broner. He's arrogant as hell so everyone gets butthurt and just blindly hates him even know it's obvious that his skill in the ring are tremendous.

Same could be said for his fight with Lucas (even through Zab won it fair and square) if he didn't fall asleep in the later rounds he would have outboxed Matthye even more than he already did.

if Matthyse wasn't unknown and exotic and was just a typical Mexican/PR/American fighter nobody would care about him....Same with GGG
