He's not a head hunter, he will kill the body, then the head will follow. Trout has a lot of body exposed, and Trout will look like a heavy bag, getting beat to a pulp. Remember how Hagler cut down the ever dangerous Tommy Hearns. Canelo will destroy Trout, and that will insure, Floyd Mayweather NEVER gets in the ring with Canelo, and neither will Sergio Martinez or Chavez, Jr. Canelo if he stays away from Hollywood, keeps his focus, could dominate the division, clean out the division, for many, many years, like Hagler, Hopkins, Larry Holmes all did during their long, legendary careers.
OMG, this is maybe thee most delusional post I've ever read on here. How can you compare canelo to Hagler. In fact canelo is only now taking on his jr middleweight debut. Minus the great Ryan Rhodes of course who moved mountains and laid waste to iron warships.

The last fighter with the I'll fight anybody attitude was the Punisher. And it would be disrespectful to fit canelo's name next to him and he's no Hagler. This should be a bannable offense, being this ******.

For some reason I'm seeing this go like the Martinez-Chavez Jr Fight. With Trout winning most of the rounds then getting caught with something late to make it close at the very end.

No one was saying Cotto was shot until Trout beat him. Cotto was getting respect at the time for giving mayweather a competitive fight

Not exactly. I think most people agree that Cotto hasn't been the same fighter since getting plastercized by margs.

It's much harder to be a road warrior like Marvin was and to go ruin people overseas in their home towns. Canelo has had a significant degree of protection and good management. That isn't to say he isn't the real deal- but he'll never have the type of thick alligator skin Marvin HAD to have.

I can dig your comparison stylistically though, but again I think Canelo has way too much to prove still.

DELUSION! Pillow fisted Trout is not stopping anybody anytime soon. No Doubt You'll Fall Asleep Watching Trout doesn't have the power or combo's to make this happen. Nor does he have the effective counter punching to make Canelo stop attacking him from getting inside.

This is going to be a classic puncher v. boxer fight. Canelo will take 3 to give 1, but Canelo's 1 added over 6-9 rounds will be the difference to put Trout to sleep as Trout so often does to the audience.

I keep reading people writing about Trout's size. Folks are saying that Trout is "bigger" than Canelo. Do they mean taller? Canelo seems like the more compact and naturally heavier of the two.

In any case, I can't wait for this fight to happen.

Canelo is in for a hell of a fight and possibly a boxing lesson from Trout. Trout is not a big puncher by any means, but he is a physically imposing figure and is a natural Jr mid so his activity and high punch output will cause problems for Canelo. It's one thing to take 3 to land 1 but when you are hitting a bigger man than you are used to, your shots are not going to have the same effectiveness. Also those 3 shots Canelo will take to give 1 will not be 3 Welterweight shots, they will be 3 Jr Middleweight punches.

Fight could go either way but I see trout breaking down Canelo and stopping him late due to accumulation of blows. Either that or a fairly one sided decesion for Trout. Don't see Canelo knocking Trout out and i can't see him out boxing him. If Canelo wins it will be a close decesion in a rough messy fight.

I always read this boxing lesson uttered in this site. Running and fighting to survive is far far from giving boxing lesson. It's nonsense. In real life you're doomed like when there's no mediator involved. Running, holding and clinching in a cage will get you in trouble. Like what we saw Donaire knocking Rigo the **** down. There's no ref in real life. If effect, you only depend on the ref to save your ass.
