    • Sore loser

What a terrible comment Donaire, you got schooled and you were outlanded, you looked slow, they called him the Filipino flash but his punch was as slow as a toilet flush, nonito the Flush Donaire

      • Tontito is ****ing delirious. He didn't want to let his hands go in fear of retaliation from Rigondeaux. He pressured without throwing punches and when he did he hit air. Not to mention when he managed to hit Rigo he came back twice as hard. HE GOT SCHOOLED.PERIOD.

        • He did not say this after the match... I think that this is Arum. Nonito was told, it is easier to promote him after this if he denies the loss...

          • Donaire, You Lost...Stop With The "I Did Enough To Win" Cry

Get it done in the ring. Stop with the whining, the excuses, etc.... show up and take it out of the judges hands, and knock guys out, or dominate them for 12 rounds, so there is NO doubt. Go back to ESPN.

            • Nonito didnt get completely schooled because he did manage to knock down rigo. Still, donaire felt rigo's power especially in the 12th. Rigo is one bad dude

              • Nonito is having a hard time realizing he is not as good as he and many others thought he was.
Sure you can dominate and look invincible against fighters who are really old (Arce) basically amateurs (WV2) or very small (Montiel). But when he is put up against a guy with any real boxing skills who is still somewhat in their prime his weakness shows.
When his speed and power are not dominating the fight, he is like a lost child doesn't know what to do. He has no ability to adapt to a fighters style. He has no plan B or C, just goes in round after round doing the same thing, looking for that one "Montiel" shot. Blame here should be put on Garcia who didn't have Donaire prepared, and has yet to fix those flaws.
We saw Donaire's inability to adapt not only in the Rigo fight, but in the Narvaez fight too. Difference was Rigo actually had some power to keep Donaire (the much bigger guy) off of him. Narvaez was simply too small.

He won that fight even by a slight margin. You can't win a fight by running. If Donaire wasn't pressuring would Rigo be running? No. That means Donaire had the better ring generalship.
Think of it like this - who was fighting the fight he wanted to fight? - it damn well wasn't donaire

they are the reason why people root against manny and when manny went to sleep they shifted to donaire and they continue to show their ass.

                    RIP FILIPINO BOXING/P A CTARDS
its funny how that works because i would be a fan of manny if it wasnt for his fan base

                    • It's "spin" like this from Donaire that makes me go from liking a fighter to hating them. It was the same with Rios after Abril. This case is much worse though.

I mean I can take the excuses. It's hard to lose so for sure you want to state any and all reasons for losing, but to try to discredit the rightfully better man after admitting loss is just low as a fighter.

I mean it wasn't even close AT ALL. Donaire was on his way to being TKO'ed. He was running hard in the 12th. His size saved him in this fight. If they were truly the same size he would have been KO'ed much earlier. Rigo was visibly stronger with each punch.

I hope Donaire talks himself into a rematch so Rigo can finish the job.
