From what I remember, Lampley thought Julie Ledermans 116-111 score was the most accurate.

I've seen the fight 3 times, sugar nuts.

There is nothing new to see here.

I key is, it wasn't effective pressure or aggressiveness. Yes he knock him down big deal that doesnt win a fight. Rigo won the rest of that round as well.. You should make the case Chavez Jr won Martinez cause he knock him down. Rigo was more dominant against Donaire,. than Marintez was against Chavez jr and thats saying alot..

              Oh dear.

This is how the concepts of aggression and control are misunderstood and misapplied to justify ridiculous claims that the result was unjust.

It may not be an appealing outcome, an exciting fight, but that doesn't dictate who "wins" and who doesn't. Or at least it shouldn't. Aggression only matters if it's effective and it just wasn't. Yeah he scored a knockdown in the later rounds but that wasn't even a great knockdown. After the clinch with his feet still squared up he got caught with a not that impressive shot, after which he showed no signs at all of damage, and continued to school Nonito.

You don't win a fight based on one flash knockdown and aggression that was otherwise ineffective throughout.

If you want to characterize Rigo's performance as being nothing more than moving, disengaging, and potshotting that's fine. That is still FAR more and amounts to far more than anything Nonito did throughout.
