Would you like to see Rigo vs Gary Russell jr.

Me personally, I believe that fight would be crazy good. Both great amateur backgrounds ,fast hands, both southpaws, rigo being the counterpoucher while Gary comes forward more plus rigo would be moving up in weight. I think that's a fight Gary should be looking at now while rigo is hot right now and really become a huge star because I think he beats rigo in a very intriguing and exciting FOTY candidate matchup.

Gary Russell Jr is all flash and no substance. Outstanding handspeed and not much all else if you ask me.

      Rigo snipes him.

GRJ needs to graduate from the school of bums first.

And yes, you forgot that GRJ is currently all tied up with his storied rivalry against To Be Announced.

I stand by my statement that Rigo wipes the floor with him.

Will give 10:1 odds if it happens in the next 3 years.

I agree, I was high on him at first, but after his last performance... he was really struggling to land clean... when he throws its lightning fast but doesn't land too much. When Roy threw in his prime, it landed almost every time, he didn't waste punches.

                Someone coming forward against Rigondeaux?
Oh so we have to see that whole thing again?
Leave it out though you know deep down in your mind Rigodeneaux will NEVER be in a FOTY candidate, he had the potentiality to be in one with Donaire If he actually took a few steps forward against him instead of time wasting and only waiting for the opponent to engage, just got to feel really bad for the poor guys who paid to see that only one person turned up to fight.

Rigo scrapped it out a few times... but the most important thing was winning. It's important for his career, his family, everything... that he WON that fight... that HAS to come first.

You know what's worse than a boxer who moves a lot? (which isnt a bad thing at all).... IS the opponent who doesnt have the common sense to CUT OFF THE RING.

I blame Donaire more for not doing something about it...

                    Completely agree.

I feel like its similar to the criticism Wlad got for the Haye fight. Fair enough he wasnt exciting, but he was winning. The onus is always on the guy who is losing to switch it up.
