  • Poonsawatt was a harder fight than Donaire

Poonsawatt from a stylistic standpoint was a harder fight than Donaire was. If I said this before you'd of probably laughed, you probably still will lol

Lets not bring his robbery losses up and how he only fought cans (prime Sydorenko, Corboda, Dunne, Sithchawatchcwal (sp) etc are not bums

Poonsawatt would of done everything Donaire did but better. What would he of done differently? He'd of jabbed, he could cut a ring off, he had head movement, lateral movement, he'd of thrown combinations and let his hands go more. He'd of still got his ass kicked but that was a stylistically harder fight for Rigondeaux than Donaire.

Lets forget resume & titles here.
What actually does Donaire do better? Hes got better handspeed is slightly bigger & probably hits a bit harder.

Now lets see what Poon has over Donaire.
    Experience
Footwork - Ring I.Q, ability to cut a ring off.
    Defense.
    Lateral movement.
    Bodypunching
    Combination punching/punch variety.

He has the tools that Donaire lacked.

Here is a fight he lost (disgusting robbery)
That is intelligent pressure & for me one of the most underrated, underachievers of the last decade. Those robberies pretty much messed up his career.

I like the way you have the balls to say Cordoba was a can, when he gave Rigondeaux all he could handle, and didn't deserve to lose against! A guy that Bernard Dunne KO'd!

Edit; Sorry re read it, my bad!
