    Amir Mansour anyone?

Anybody think this guy can make some noise in the HW division? He just KO'd Dominique Alexander and Jason Gavern to open up this year, both in rd 1. Mansour is 40 yrs old, but not used up as a fighter. He's fit, hard punching and dangerous to any opponent. What you guys think?

Vitali is 41 and world champion. And as I said, Mansour is fit and not used up. It's no argument just saying 'no, he's 40 yrs old' ........

If Wladimir was willing to give Chisora a shot when he was 14-0, then why cannot Mansour work his way to one when he's 18-0?

Yeah but vitali has had a long and storied career.

Mansour would have to move ridiculously fast to make a big impact before he's closing in on 50

He's not got those crucial development years, and by the time any flaws have been uncovered it'll be too late to fix them

Most of the top heavyweights, wlad, Vitali, foreman, Lewis and more had setbacks when they were young and had time to fix them and go on to better things, Mansour doesn't have that luxury and in fact could grow old overnight at any point.

          That's my honest view

Agree with this. He's coming along way too late. I also doubt anyone would give him a shot at his age and because he's such an unknown quantity.

Mansour wasted to much time being a convict. He missed his chance.

ofcourse he can! the HW division needs some change...not saying that he will bring it...but with the right promotion and a bit of charm he could get a shot at the klits...like u said chisora did, and he used his entertaining mouthy charm to get it...

Obviously, I'm not comparing him to any of those guys.

I'd like to see him in there with one of the top ranked guys, see how he'd perform. He's been beating some durable opponents and journeymen until now.

Get him in there with a good contender.

Yes he will make some noise. Hes the perfect example of why age is nothing but a number. No amateur career no wars and damage to his body for 8 and a half years. His age is 40 but his body and movements isnt. Think about it my brothers after he got out the 1st time he was already past the age 35. Yet 9 fight total with 8 of them won by knockout. We havent seen guys going out in the first few rounds over and over since mike tyson.mayweather is now 36 and made easy work out of guerrero.but mayweather is a welterweight with n knockout power. Mansour is knocking guys out cuz he is in the big boy division. So of course those heavy punches hurt
