Garcia would probably beat Donaire at his own game. Now that would be a FIGHT. Mikey's a better pressure fighter than Nonito.

I was actually thinking this. Seems like a natural fit. That or he and Robert need to be more serious the next camp and decide based on how things go then.

Kinda off-topic...but you gotta wonder why Nonito was doing that silly fake high altitude training ****...did he expect to not have the endurance for this fight?

That not studying bull**** was definitely bull****...even if so, I don't think studying past Rigo fights would've helped him THAT much because Rigo clearly came in with a game plan tailored for taking away Nonito's power.

Donaire should drop fighting guys with skill like Rigo altogether and continue facing faded big name brawlers. Donaire had a good reason in ducking Rigo all this time until he was forced to take the fight he didn't want.

Yes, I believe so. He needs more of a boxing coach and less of a trainer to teach him how to become more of a well-rounded boxer/puncher and not just a puncher; Because right now his style is very raw and crude. It's so one dimensional and too predictable. For one, he is too in love with his power. He needs a trainer that is going to help him set up his power punches and increase his punch volume by consistently working behind his jab and throwing more combination punches in the process. On Saturday night he hardly threw any jabs, combinations or flurries. He was just loading up on single punches and hay makers at a time. You cannot win like that against a master boxing technician like Guillermo Rigondeaux with that style.
