That's what got him in trouble against the other guys, Nonito IMO doesn't have the confidence in creating openings to try and take advantage of that though. Guill is a great boxer. I never said otherwise
If you land on an elite counter puncher, that's it. You don't go out of your way to throw that second shot, because it leaves an opening for the counter puncher.
You got 2 great counter punchers. You saw what happened when Donaire committed to 2-3 shots. He got spun, off balance, and received a left hand to the face.

Lack of a vertical game. Gets smothered too often, unlike Rigo who has superior foot movement. Blocks a majority of incoming shots, by either ducking low with a body check, or tying someone up, as they get close. None of that is a flaw at all, but Rigo doesn't get smothered in the first place, because of his superior footwork and angles.
That's not indicative of Floyd having a better inside game. That's indicative of Floyd not being able to use his footwork, and angles as well as Rigo.

The only reason Cotto survived round 12 was because Floyd decided to start moving around late. His inside game, his uppercuts, and hooks equal greater punch variety in favor of Floyd.

those who voted rigondeaux and says floyd doesn't have a chance, may all have not watched floyd during he's younger years at 130. they all just started watching when floyd fought oscar.
achieve first what floyd has achieved. if skills pay the bills and rigo has the skills why not?right? rise thru the weight classes and dominate them.
but as what i've heard he's gonna stay at 122 until he retires
