You can't compare their defenses by looking at knockdowns because they defend differently. Floyds defense is a mix of head movement, footwork and most importantly smothering the other guys work and rolling with shots.
Floyd gets tagged more but the shots he gets hit with are on the shoulder, rolled, on the gloves, on the arms etc...
Rigo gets hit less by using super footwork and movement but when he does get hit it is usually a clean shot and therefore he is susceptible to flash knockdowns etc.
People who can't break this **** down are idiots... arguing about this crap.

Officially it's a knockdown, taking a knee. You don't think the Judah right hook wasn't a clean knockdown? Haha

Guillermo tried hitting Nonito first off the break. And he got buckled hard by cordoba and put down, and Guillermo ran rest of the fight.

Well said. Pernell Whitaker has been down numerous times in his career.

The rematch didn`t happen because Floyd asked for 50% and Oscar turned it down. Its the same reason a 3rd fight between Mosley and Oscar didn`t happen.Mosley asked for 50% also. They both felt since they won that they deserved 50% for the rematch. And Oscar still had his speed intact for his fight with Floyd and was only 34 years old and Floyd was 30.Martinez is 38 and is still on top of his game. And Oscar outweighed Floyd by 15-20 pounds so no excuses.

How many in his first 12 fights? Same as Guill I believe. Whitaker didn't establish his wizardry until he moved up and relied on it more against the better fighters, he spent a lot of his early work clowning. Let's give Guillermo some time.

No, it wasn't a "clean knockdown". It was an example of perfect timing, a glancing blow catching Mayweather while he was already slipping/off balance. He didn't even go down, his glove simply touched the canvas. Some of you are slow.
