Rigondeaux is a better pure boxer than this current version of Floyd. Prime for prime, I'd give the edge to Floyd. I never thought that i'd say this, but Rigondeaux's techniques looks sharper.

If Floyd was a 122 pounder I think he walks Rigo down like he does every Southpaw and eats him up with those straight rights and more. He just has more to his arsenal. As great as Donaire is, weve seen fights where he looked like just a guy looking for one big punch and then if he doesnt get it then he can look very much less than spectacular.

Yesterday he just fought someone good enough to take advantage of it but I dont see Rigo getting away with that against any version of Floyd

Floyd in his prime but Rigo is better now. A fighter like Cotto would get battered by Rigo, where as Floyd had some problems.

Mayweather and Rigondeaux are the fighters that should always be praised and get endorsements, not these overhype jobs. Marquez should be getting praised not Morales, Barrera or Pacquiao. All you dimwits go for brawlers but when it comes to intelligence and skill they will always lose. Just like how Alvarado schooled Rios... which I also said was going to happen. If you don't know boxing shut the **** up and the fact of the matter is that Donaire is a hype job.
How's he a hype job? He's one of the few fighters in boxing with 2 ring top 10 p4p wins. He's dominated top comp from 112 to 122, up till Rigo. How many Rigos are there at 122 and below?

Is this a joke? Did you slow mo Floyd, and purposely make him look WAY less crisp than Rigo. LMAO.

why do people assume that because Floyd is past his prime then he cant compete as a pure boxer? I still dont see anyone and I mean anyone outboxing Floyd. You might rough him up or outwork him but you are not going to outbox him, and that goes for even Rigo. People forget when they havent seen you in so long. Floyd is still mad sharp with his punches.

One thing people must remember is that Rigo is a Southpaw. Its a mad huge advantage. Floyd would be untoucable as a Southpaw. A ton of people dont know how to fight Southpaws.

Donaire struggled to find Rigo. Alot of it had to do with Rigo being great but it was also the Southpaw style giving him fits

so you pick one of Floyd's least greatest performances against a world class fighter vs Rigo's best performance against someone 12 levels below Hatton. Thats not an apt comparison at all
