I love Rigo and he put on a great performance but watching the fight live I felt that if it was a p4p version of Floyd in there instead of Donaire then Floyd I think pretty easily takes Rigo apart. Donaire is not Floyd.

If Floyd was a 122 pounder I think he walks Rigo down like he does every Southpaw and eats him up with those straight rights and more. He just has more to his arsenal. As great as Donaire is, weve seen fights where he looked like just a guy looking for one big punch and then if he doesnt get it then he can look very much less than spectacular.

Yesterday he just fought someone good enough to take advantage of it but I dont see Rigo getting away with that against any version of Floyd

I have been watching boxing all of my life and Rigo is the best boxer i have seen. It is funny people try to compare pro records, if Rigo was allowed to turn pro at 18 also what kind of legacy would he have now? The fact is he has proved he is the best at every level he was allowed to compete in. and for those who have fought before in the ams you know you dont get to pick your opponent so you have to fight the best, and ask most fighters which is harder to win, a gold medal in the games or a world title and the obvious response is of course the gold medal. I have never seen anyone with the skills that Rigo has, RJJ to me was the most physically gifted but Rigo has more skills

@122, walking down Rigo is a no no. Rigo doesn't = Judah and Ortiz.

Rigondeaux is an exceptional fighter but falls short in comparison to Money May.

If both can fight eachother... I will literally die.

That being said both are Master Class defensive wizards, and Rigondeaux has insane speed but I don't think he has as much versatility. People will try to give Rigondeaux a higher standing for beating Nonito but the truth is Nonito was a hype job from the beginning. I said it before the match even happen that Nonito will not even be able to hurt or touch him even though he got that knockdown which shows Rigondeaux can be outsmarted if he fought Mayweather. Rigondeaux seems to have much more destructive power but Mayweather when he was a featherweight also was considered a power puncher with genius boxing ability. Also if we do compare connect % to miss punches landed on the fighter.. Mayweather is still other worldly in that stat with a 20+ difference and never been knocked off his feet.

Ya damn skippy, you're gonna use an ALT if you're saying things like this. You wouldn't want the people that know you, to think you were a moron, now would ya?

Mayweather. This is some type of joke? Mayweather has shown a much more diverse array offensively and defensively. From being a great outside fighter, to being able to fight close range, or fighting inside body to body. Defensively he is able to use footwork (Less now), or shoulder roll, or fight in a peek a boo style, etc... From being able to fight going backwards or forwards pressuring a fighter, going left or right, even having moments of going southpaw in the past etc.

Who has Nonito beat? I see they show favoritism to Pinoy fighters when they barely done anything significant. Like Manny Pacquiao winning fighter of the decade and now the poster boy for sleeping on the job.

Mayweather and Rigondeaux are the fighters that should always be praised and get endorsements, not these overhype jobs. Marquez should be getting praised not Morales, Barrera or Pacquiao. All you dimwits go for brawlers but when it comes to intelligence and skill they will always lose. Just like how Alvarado schooled Rios... which I also said was going to happen. If you don't know boxing shut the **** up and the fact of the matter is that Donaire is a hype job.
