yep, he just needs to be matched up well with guys who are willing to let their hands go. Donaire was a horrible style matchup for Rigo, as far as entertainment value goes. Fortunately he's got that out of the way and can focus on getting in the ring defending his BELTS (PLURAL) against guys who are more willing to engage and take risks

You must mean ****** fans?? Coz true boxing fans shouldve loved the fight I no i did!!!

I was on the edge of my seat for the whole fight yesterday and i even rewatched the fight today and im still happy with the fight bcoz it was a chess match at the highest level!!!

I will say that i thought the fight couldve gone either way when i first watched it but i was leaning towards Rigo after watching it again i think rigo deserved the win!!

B-HOP fights are more exciting than last nights snoozefest..

200 total punches landed for the two?

He's a counterpuncher and a master tactician, bud. He doesn't waste anything. For a fighter of his type Rigo is surprisingly entertaining. Hopefully all the fake fans that couldn't appreciate the master class he gave Donaire like yourself will switch to MMA.

Its like soccer. If you watch it for the first time you're either going to like it or not. Either way the average soccer game will only have 1 or 2 goals. You can't change it. It is what it is.
Doesn't stop it from being the most popular sport in the world.
We watch it for the skill not the KO's. That's just the icing on the cake. At least for me.

If you're going to a boxing match expecting to see a ko you should turn around and go home.
I damn sure don't!!...casual clowns make me sick!!...those mother****ers don't know a jab from a hook....all they know is Mayweather and Pacquiao...nothing else!!

just face it, he's not exciting, no one wants to watch a boxer riding on a unicycle the whole fight, wait till his next fight if he ever get his own card, he'll make bradley like a superstar

I thought Rigondeaux was entertaining against his previous opponents because he does normally come foward to attack. However he did look boring against Donaire because he had to follow his plan. I do understand he had box in that way but I didn't want to appreciate his skills because the fight wasn't engaging. I am a boxing purist but I like skilled fighters to take risks.

You do realize you just backed up my point? He's boring because he does not entertain enough, simple FACT. He may be a boxing hipster's dream boat but he'll stink out the sport and turn most fans away.
