It sounds like a lot of folks are upset because Rigo wasn't a pawn that was there to collect a check and engage Donaire in a way that he could give the fans what they wanted to see: Another highlight reel knockout.
But I'm not criticizing for people for not enjoying last nights fight. But the blame for a "boring" fight, if you feel that way, needs to go both ways and I feel its two one sided. Donaire has a history of being booed, as Steve Kim alluded too but nobodies calling him out for being so shook of Rigo's feints, speed and counters that he shelled up and became economical.
The lack of action was due to the clash of styles. Not Rigo's style alone. As shown in the past, if you engage with Rigo and give him opportunities he capitalizes and knocks you out.
