RIGO won as an amateur fight it is,playing safe and run all along, and try to engage in last round only. Cong**** to him but hate me or not,not for the boxing fan

hope rigo could engage like a pro so he could clearly be on a stardome as nonito have.

maybe rigo could have been more active but he just knocked off a top 5 p4p fighter who was on the rise and made him look ordinary in the process. rigo should be praised, not criticized. ward knows that but he just cant bring himself to do it cuz he's friends with donaire.

          Great Breakdown!

Ward is a student of the sport so he understand what he is watching and what is going on more some then idiots who are just looking for two guys to jump in the ring and swing away until someone goes down

Boy yall are some haters! yall are not real boxing fans! I believe Rigo displayed some of the best footwork that I have ever seen! It was a true technical boxing match! Something only a true boxing fan can appreciate! I watch ufc! And at first I hated the wrestling matches, but after studying the sport I can appreciate the art! Rigo dominated the first half of the fight, but in the middle rnds he really showed his footwork! Just watch it again and pay attention to detail! His footwork is second to none! He really put on a show! And had Donaire running the last rnd!

Whats a boxing fan to you mean? There is a difference between a casual fan and a boxing purist. A casual fan is someone that only likes brawls and nothing but knockdowns and knockouts. Boxing purists likes a lot of the same things also but they also like what Rigo showed. They like they slip and moving along with the pot shots and counters he was throwing. He showed that he could move around the ring with intelligence creating openings i didn't see any running really.

Hit and don't get hit is the name of the game. Maybe you'd be saying something different if Rigo was more aggressive but that is not how he fights he fights smart. So he got caught in one of the rounds but then what happened? He sure f-u-c-k-e-d up Nonito's eye in the 12th and he was backing up for a good portion of that last round.

Also don't forget he did stand in front of him for like the first 2 or 3 rounds and then decided to move and as he started doing that he was catching Nonito with some good shots.

So i believe you're a boxing fan but maybe just a casual boxing fan with some knowledge of the sport. I'm not saying a whole lot or anything like that but i enjoyed the hell out of the fight and watching those slick moves from Rigo impressed me. And it was a fight i thought he had a good chance of losing.

can rigo get some credit? He dominated a super elite fighter! Before the fight I didn't even think he could win, but he not only one, but he dominated! Yall are not boxing fans, because if u were, u would know a master piece when u see one! Donaire probably out weighed rigo by 15lbs, but rigo was so fast, that donaire didn't want to throw punches! That's who the world should be mad at! Its not Rigo fault that Donaire couldn't cut the ring off and hit Rigo! He was the one down, but he was shook up since rnd 1!

Great fighter, good analogy, bad timing. Right after seeing his friend get beat up may not have been the best time to ask Andre his thoughts and expect a "professional" and honest answer. Professional or not, it's hard to find something good to say about someone who just beat up your childhood friend. Rigo could have knocked Nonito out and Ward still would have found positive things to say about Donaire.
