People who think Margarito used plaster in his first fight with Cotto

First off great explantion... really proved your point. Second of all give it up, no one but Margarito himself knows if he was cheating. All WE know is that he DID try to cheat against mosley, so you really gonna take him for his word? lol Anyone who respects him or think he's any good should be ashamed. Before the mosley fight, i loved him. After i never respected him and glad pacquaio did what he did to him. Karma always comes back sooner or later.... and yes i do believe he used it against cotto. He's a cheat and will always be remembered as such.Comment

Lol yeah what a joke right??? Nobody knows for sure but his team but does he really have any credit ability here??? He got trying to cheat right after finishing the top welter outside Floyd at the time and we're suppose to think he only did that against Mosley??? Come on bro.... And then he goes out and gets trashed in a one sided beat down. LolComment

I have no idea if Marg used tainted wraps before the Mosely fight. However, since being caught, Margarito has fought 31 rounds vs top shelf opposition (10 vs Cotto, 12 vs Pac, and 9 vs Mosely). In those 31 rds, its hard to find more than 2 or 3 Margarito won. Coincidence? You decideComment

I tend to agree. Reed it and weep.
Margarito was found to have trace amounts of calcium and sulfur in his gauze. Yes, he was suspended on that administrative, bureaucratic technicality, but no conspiracy to assault charges were pressed, as surely would have been had he been carrying a weapon more deadly than his fists in his gloves. Calcium and sulfur does not = calcium sulfate hemihydrate (plaster of paris), which is a compound made by heating gypsum. Calcium and sulfur are not a compound, they are calcium and sulfur. Also, the alleged tell-tale crack on Tony's wraps was proven to be nothing more sinister than a black thread. Also, he went a whole career doing damage to guys, tearing off their ears, beating them up, and was never found to have been carrying anything illegal in all the times his wraps were inspected leading up to the night in January 2009 (Emanuel Steward, the esteemed HOF trainer, observed them before the Cintron rematch and saw nothing untoward), which would be some lucky feat if he'd been cheating all that time (and if the claim is that he only started cheating later in his career, how does one explain the damage he'd inflicted on prior opponents)? And last but not least, NSAC (under whose rules Tony and Cotto fought) are known to provide the gauze and tape to fighters and their trainers.
Cotto lost, fair and square.Comment
