Mosley was so dangerous at that point of his career... Cotto on the other hand was just a little prospect on the rise. Margarito definitely needed the boost 'only' for the Shane fight

I have no idea if Marg used tainted wraps before the Mosely fight. However, since being caught, Margarito has fought 31 rounds vs top shelf opposition (10 vs Cotto, 12 vs Pac, and 9 vs Mosely). In those 31 rds, its hard to find more than 2 or 3 Margarito won. Coincidence? You decide

Also, the alleged tell-tale crack on Tony's wraps was proven to be nothing more sinister than a black thread.
