A SERIOUS question for those who KNOW their boxing HISTORY

This is a serious question here. Did Rigo make history last night?

Rigo won his first belt with under 10 pro fights. He also unified and became LINEAL champ in his 12th pro fight. Now, considering The RING does the right thing, he should also be on the P4P list. He didn't just beat a P4P fighter but schooled him.

So, has anyone else done this before? Unified/lineal champ and P4P in just 12 fights? Maybe somehow he can become undisputed. If Oscar has the balls to make that 3M offer to Rigo and Arum again that is.

I doubt an 80 year old Ali was highly ranked on the pound for pound list when Spinks fought him.

If Ali had 1 foot in the retirement home door, I wouldn't consider it the same. Donaire was a bigger world class legitimate pfp fighter when Rigo schooled im.

The Heavyweight champion on a 14 fight win streak not high on the P4P list?

GBP no longer has hold of the WBC belt, luckily for Rigo. Santa Cruz is gonna have his hands full with Romero (IBF titlist).

Holyfield beat the lineal cruiserweight champ in dwight muhammad qawi, also in his 12tg pro fight.

In my eyes, no but.... He has definitely shut a lot of critics up and showed his worth.

A lot of people came out saying the amateur record ment nothing, even a lot of top boxing writers and commentators. Yet he showed other wise. Nobody looked at it like 400+ amateur fights = 100 rounds+ and a lot of ring experience.

I would like to see Rigondeaux either clean up the division(which is already cleaned up pretty much) or move up and teach some more techniques (because he did school donaire in true counter punching and ring general ship)
