DiBella knows if he ever puts Martinez against GGG, it will be in his last fight. He wants to make all the big fights Martinez can still win now.

I've always liked DiBella but god damn what a ****ing pathetic douchebag he is here. Saying that Golovkin, an exciting fighter thats been on HBO multiple times and that the fans love, is a fight that "doesn't make economic sense" is the EXACT SAME ARGUMENT Arum used to avoid putting Cotton and Chavez in there with Martinez.

Im the biggest Martinez fan around, but i think its time to accept that Team Martinez is ducking fighters the same way certain fighters were ducking him a few years ago.

How is it humanly possible that Murray brings more to the table than GGG? I also have to ask why is Lou such a loose cannon?

The Argentine government is paying Martinez $5 million to fight there.

That's true about the last string of opponants that Martinez ha faced. I don't know how Lou was able to justify them to the boxing crowd. The same things that he's saying about ggg can be said about Martinez last few opponents with the exception of Chavez jr

I don't know, maybe it's because (against Murray) Martinez doesn't stand a chance of having his WBC title (which he just won back) stripped again and because a fight against an Englishman is an easy sell in Argentina (as opposed to an unknown eastern European/Asian fighter).

What I see Di Bella suggesting in this video is that Martinez could fight GGG, if and when GGG beats Macklin (not sure why everyone is ignoring this) and that fighting GGG before he's ripe is bad business. As far as I'm concerned, the fight will happen either this year or early 2014, so I don't know what the lot of you are complaining about.

This unfortunately is true nowadays, everyone has someone they would be want to avoid like the plague. Why can't he take something from the Donaire handbook and man up

                    HAHAHAHA

Why did he erupt like that?: because he KNOWS the reporter is right.

The way they are ducking GGG is exactly in line with how Martinez was being ducked earlier in his career.

When a reporter is actually talking nonsense any athlete, promoter, or anyone will just smirk and cleverly explain why it isn't true. When a reporter exposes the truth, THAT's when you see that type of emotional reaction.
