Exactly my thoughts. Donaire looked like the amateur in there.

But what the ****?! He treated ‘the fight’ like an amateur! He got mad skills and yet he potshots like he’s going for his 3rd Olympic gold! This ain’t a touch ‘n go god damn it! He sure has a hell lot of chance KO’ing Donaire if he was more aggressive; he’s got lightning fast hands and reflexes. Why is he too damn cautious when he’s toying Donaire much of the fight?! Pretty sure the booing that resonated all throughout is not for Nonito! But on a second thought, if he engaged Donaire more, he could’ve landed on his arse a dozen more times. Watching him fight is more painful than a Pac left, I promise!

I want Donaire to move up and be a 5 division champ! He should only accept a rematch if Rigondeaux signed it on the rematch clause that he’s going to throw 200 punches every single round otherwise the round automatically goes to Nonito!
The sad part is we have all this information at our disposal in 2013, and yet people still dont know boxing when they see it.

That was so cheap, Rigondeaux stood up and walked past the ref before he even said 7. That was such a cheap KD the way Donaire got it. It was Rigo's fault for not paying attention, but that was so cheap Donaire fans should not even dare mention that KD.

Hit & don't be hit, it's boxing..no likes to be hit in the face.
Rigo put on a show of his true boxing skills. Donaire was outsmarted and outclassed. Regardless if it was an entertaining fight or not, depends on what styles you like.
I honestly expected more from Donaire but Rigo took away his timing with slick/slippery movement, It looks so hard to time him and the only way I'd see Rigo getting hurt is if he ever decided to go toe to toe and brawl.

It's his 11th pro fight. If he had opened it up a little more he would have stopped Donaire, but his game plan was perfect. Donaire was the #1 guy in the division and a huge puncher, he needed to get in, do his work, and get out. Rigo made almost no mistakes, but he paid for the one in the 10th by getting put on his ass.

Cuban boxing just ain't pretty from an entertainment standpoint.

I'm not taking away Rigo's win, I'm just gritting my teeth the whole fight for both fighters to get close and personal, I mean, be more aggressive and try to put each others asses down god damn it! At least Donaire TRIED, Rigo DIDN'T!

It was just a silly shot coming out of a clinch. He got up straight away without being hurt at all and won the rest round easily. Very, very, very, very different from Martinez and Chavez.

You do realise that Donaire threw less punches?

                    Donaire threw less punches.

Rigondeaux threw more punches. Get it? Does that compute?

If Donaire tried harder, the very least he could have done was throw more punches. But, he didn't and he got his ass handed to him on a silver platter.

Rigondeaux threw more, landed more, landed at a significantly higher %, and apart from the knockdown, landed the harder, cleaner, more hurtful shots every single round and quite simply dominated.

You deserve to be ****ed up the ass by a gorilla for being such a dumb, blind, ignorant ****.
