Meanwhile he's getting his face iced and stitched up.
I remember when he kept saying Nishioka was the best super bantam while overlooking both Rigo and Mares.

However, i still give Donaire credit for fighting Rigo instead of a dull rematch with Darchinyon.

After both Bam Bam Rios and Donaire getting outboxed, i wonder do people think Robert Garcia is deserving of trainer of the year? Is he better than Nacho and Virgil Hunter?

I knew Rigondeaux was good but I didn't know he was this good! I'm just blown away by his elite level of skills with only 12 pro fights! He put on the best boxing clinic against a hyped up P4P fighter I have ever seen.

I am completely sold on Guillermo and a fan from here on out.

I am going to go out on a limb here and say this is the best win since Roy Jones over Bernard Hopkins.

I know I am Rigotard and all, but honestly... given his age, and what he proved tonight, and the circumstances of him being cuban, I would say legacy wise this win is enough to cement him a place in the hall of fame.

I think Pacdbest messed up his keyboard with tears, that's why we don't see him here.
Well I hope he gets it fixed and I welcome him to jump on the wagon, there's still room for a few more.
Respect the Gold medals next time.

He just unified WBO and WBA and became 122 Ring Champion and top 10 P4P, all in 12 fights. If he can beat Mares, then go up and beat Garcia, i'd say he's done about as much as a 30+ year old pro with 400 amateur fights could do in the pros. He has the boxing fundamentals to fight all the way in to his late 30s against high leveled opposition. He'll be like a Hopkins/Mayweather type of fighter and still be good in his late 30s.

I agree and he has now made my top 10 p4p list:

                1. Pacquiao 2. Rigondeaux 3. Ward 4. Alvarez 5. Khan 6. Alvarado 7. Mares 8. Donaire 9. Bradley 10. Mayweather/Trout (cant decide)

Rigo only cemented his position as a marathon runner. Rigo makes Hopkins and Maravilla look like pure warriors.

                  "WAR rigo" = "RUN rigo!"

You're right. That's two big losses for Robert.
