rigo is boring. i wanted him to punch more and go in for the kill but he did his usual thing which is win but it wasn't very fan friendly.

when two people are throwing fists and people refer to it as chess, you know it's boring.

Beautiful display by Rigondeaux, the guy's unbelievable.
The speed, slickness, footwork and head movement was fantastic.

I actually loved the fight, And you saw what happened as soon as Donaire got more agressive, he got countered and blinded.

the first time he got aggressive he dropped him. second time he got blinded.

he should;ve been aggressive all night. it would have been action packed then,

He didn't get dropped because he was aggressive. It was a lapse as he broke from the clinch, there were times when Rigondeaux really did commit to HARD counters and really went for landing those power shots. He didn't fight overly negative he was doing enough to win and the shots he did land were masterful and powerful all while not even breaking a sweat.

                  it wasnt a boring fight.

only person who could make it boring is the person watching, by not knowing enough about boxing to appreciate what he is seeing.

you can act sarcastic all you want but this is boxing, the art of hitting without getting hit. rigo boxed and he did a masterful job of it. if you cant appreciate that you dont appreciate boxing. its that simple.

calling it a great fight might be a stretch but it was a very good fight for sure.

i meant donaire was too passive. rigo had a lot to do with that. but when donaire opened up there was great action.

there were some rounds that were deathly boring, but the fight as a whole was pretty entertaining just watching the skills displayed by both guys
