He said he was going to KO Valuev "I'll fell the giant" but hardly threw a punch until the last minute of the last round.

He said he was going to KO both Klitschkos in 2010, but never fought either one that year. He fought old Audley Harrison instead.

In 2011, he said he was going to go in "guns ablazin" and KO Wladimir Klitschko, but instead he fought very cautiously.

Last year, he said he was going to retire if he couldn't get a fight with Vitali, but now he's scheduled to fight again against someone else.

Does David Haye come through with his promises to his fans?
Did Wlad not pull out of his fight with Shannon Briggs? Dereck Chisora? etc. etc. Man boxers get injuries Haye's have been well documented and he gets injured often. Ruiz-injured, Maccarinelli-injured, Wlad-injured, Charr-injured....Look at Andre Ward same thing this sport is rough on the body. Vitali is the king of injuries.....I don't hold it against him.

Wlad never pulled out of a fight with Shannon Briggs.

Wladimir did pull out of a Chisora fight and lied about an injury because Haye demanded it in their negotiations, which (although I hate to say it) was a dishonorable move on Wlad's part and the lowest thing he's done in his career.

At least I know basic English grammar fat boy. Maybe you should get Wlad's **** out of your mouth and you might see things differently.

UK boxing fans are expressing their disappointment with David Haye on twitter:

            Ben Weston ‏@bweston123 49m
@Manuel_Charr Mate I must say I am ashamed of my countryman David Haye. What a coward that man is. You won the fight before you got in ring
            Graham Pinder ‏@gapinder1986 52m
@mrdavidhaye never fails to disappoint. at least this time he pulled out of the fight before getting his ass handed to him by @Manuel_Charr

If he promised his fans that he would be inactive, yap his mouth from the sidelines instead of fighting top contenders than yes, he has.

How could Haye fulfil his promise when Vitali is the one who didn't keep his promise and instead avoided Haye after he said he'd face the winner of the Haye - Chisora fight.

I liked Vitali as a fighter but avoiding Haye did taint his image, reputation and record somewhat, it's a shame Vitali didn't keep that promise because that would have been a good HW title fight for the fans.
