To the extent that it's normal industry practice at the elite levels of broadcasting YES they treat fighters like dirty useless whores. Funny thing is they gave Floyd more special treatment than anyone barring Oscar. Floyd is an ungrateful whore.
He's just mad cos Merchant asked him questions he didn't want to answer.
Floyd is a rich ho becuse of HBO so I don't see anything wrong with that.
Anyways he's trying to justified why he jump ship
the more you repeat yourself the ******er you sound, do you know what the word bankroll is? STFU already. just admit it floyd's a real bilatch, here
HBO doesn't bankroll ppvs for Floyd. There are investors who do that. Investors usually found by GBP and al haymon. So how about u stf. HBO's job is to produce and distribute the fight. Seriously do yourself a favor and learn about the ppv process.
Did he really bring up Larry Merchant again? I though Floyd apologized to him for going all WorldstarHipHop on him. HBO was able to help him make as much money as he's made thus far, so I'm not sure what he's crying about. Does Larry really bother him that much?
I'm surprised HBO didn't drop him sooner like after the racist ustream video or after the Baldomir fight
Hes just mad that HBO did not want his ass anymore and would not step up to fight to keep him. HBO LET him leave a go to Showtime. LET HIM!!!
So in some way Floyd was HBOs bltch up until they didnt want him anymore. So his vagina is a little hurt right now. He has a new home to cherry pick now and a new excuse to DUCK more fighters due to the reason that they fight on HBO! There are more serious threats on the HBO side...
Funny thing is they gave Floyd more special treatment than anyone barring Oscar. Floyd is an ungrateful whore.
The difference being that Oscar gave the network the fights that mattered the most in regards to what the fans wanted to see and as far as ratings were concerned. Floyd did not. They were probably both given the leeway to fight who they wanted. Oscar chose to fight the fights that mattered the most and challenge himself in the ring to prove he was the best. Floyd's only desire was to get the most money possible for the least risk.
Floyds problems with HBO has always been about selection of opponents. HBO wanted more competitive fights for the money they were paying.
Exactly!!! Gayweathers merciless cherry picking was more extreme then any fighter in history and after the 15th straight cherry pick HBO spoke up and he ran to showtime faster then Marion Jones....i
