Now tell me what Canelo's done in his weight class again?

All that's going on here is the belts aren't on the line. I don't see Mathysse exercising some rematch clause with Mike Dallas Jr. He's fighting one of the toughest guys in the division.

Comparing Mathysse asking for the fight to be 1 lb over the limit to what's been going on with Canelo, put simply, is wrong.
Even Canelo has beaten a tired old Mosley in fashion, bum ass Judah was able to get a decision over Matthysse, Canelo isn't the most accomplished boxer in the sport, but at least he took his toughest fight to date, without stipulations, can't say the same about Lucas.

People really sleep on the skills of Lamont Peterson. This kid is the truth. His boxing skills are very underrated and he has pop in both hands. He will be the more skilled fighter in this fight. Do not be surprised if this fight isn't that competitive. He has fought much better competition. He has fought Bradley, Khan, Ortiz, Holt, and has sparred Floyd Mayweather and gave him hell. Who has Matthyyse fought and beat??? Judah...no, Alexander...no. Even if you thought he won those fights, they don't compare to Peterson's opposition. Lucas is a very solid fighter, but he is not the best at 140. He will not win this fight.

Thanks for proving my point with "bum ass Judah".

Is this the same "bum ass Judah" that Garcia was able to swindle out of fighting Mathysse over?

Without stipulations? Doesn't Canelo have a rematch clause, but didn't give one to Trout? That sounds like a stipulation to me.

Oh yeah, and I wouldn't even say Peterson is his toughest fight to date. I'd put that up there with Alexander and possibly Olusegun.

Hell, I'm not to sure Garcia or Peterson can soundly beat Olusegun. But yes, Peterson is up there with some of the best he's fought.

When comparing Garcia's resume to Mathysee's resume, Garcia has the better single best victory by a small margin by beating Khan coming off a loss. Hell, Buster Douglass beat Mike Tyson, let's make him an ATG. But if we're talking about body of work, Mathysse is clearly in the lead; that's including all his robbery losses.

I like Peterson. I don't even want these two to fight quite honestly. Here we have Peterson and Mathysse going head to head and fighting the best in the division while Garcia, like PacnPBFsuck put it, is fighting "bum as Judah".

Matthysse is ******ed. He has a bigger chance landing the Garcia fight with the IBF belt.

That's surprising I thought for sure they were pulling a fast one on LM. Looks like he's not always the innocent one.

Some supported this idea and thought gb were being smart by holding the belts. I'd still like to hear Lucas explain it, just a bit odd. It's all ******, anyhow. Too many belts, too many champions.

It all makes sense to me. I just hope this fight does come off.
