"Most ppl don't know **** about boxing!"
It's true, most fighters who make weight usually cut down 10-15 lbs below their walking around weight in between fights to make weight for the division they're fighting in. But people like Floyd Mayweather, Manny Pacquiao, and Bernard Hopkins choose to stay in shape and stay close to their fighting weight year round. As a matter of fact, both Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather fight at the weight that they naturally walk around at, that's why they never gain too much weight when they rehydrate after the weigh in. Manny Pacquiao actually is able to eat a full meal before official weigh ins and still make weight! Because if you've followed Pacquiao's career as closely as I have, I for the 2nd Morales fight, he started rehydrating up to 144+ on fight night, and every fight after that he would always come in weighing in the higher 140's. Which means when the De La Hoya fight finally came, he wasn't having to kill himself to make weight anymore. And I'm a straight up Mayweather fan, so you can't accuse me of being biased. I actually like em both, but I'm Money Team 1st at the end of the day.
