Like I said if Floyd asked I am sure they would do it for him, but really that is just in-line with everything we know about Floyd's weight. Plus didn't Floyd supposedly lose a bunch of weight in jail so he might even be a bit smaller than he was for say the Cotto fight.

I don't see a big reason to question it, and for showing love for Floyd for this~ this is perhaps my favorite thing about Floyd and something you can point to that makes him different from damn near every fighter in the sport.

Hype?? God knows...they are a law unto themselves and most of the time I cant figure out why any of these organisation do the things they do...In Floyd's case they are probably willing to do whatever they're told, given the payday and exposure.

Hype? What kind of hype would that bring?

That said, if Mayweather wanted to then he could have the WBC lie about his weight. But it just seems highly unlikely considering the last time he had one of those 30 day weigh in's he was around the same weight and he's never come to the ring higher than 150 Lbs.

It's feasible and logical to assume that this weigh in weight is likely to be accurate.

Ok, how much did he weigh for this fight? Looks more ripped here without a question.

                How about here?

It's occam's razor~ the simplest solution is most likely the correct one.

I could come up with all sorts of crackpot theories but the simplest solution is that he weighs what is shown and there isn't any reason to lie about it. If Floyd was hovering around the allowed limit maybe I would indulge such talk or had known weight issues but he is in line with what he always weighs~

I believe they said it was about 148, for the cotto fight on fight night. Sure he'll get a bit more cut-up but he's already in great shape there's no denying that. Floyd has 30 days from that pic to work on doing nothing but improving his gameplan and physical form. Guerrero at 30 out was 159... he has 30 days to make weight, which he'll do but it'll be a huge difference compared to what Floyd has time to do.
