Clottey hasnt fought in years, and Nelson has actually beaten decent guys, unlike Perez, who had an even fight with some kid from Uzbek as his best win. This is also a 3 string under card fight.

You're just mad that he beat Yudel jhonson
Mad that he beat Jhonson? Not sure how you came to this conclusion cause I havent said a word about Nelson. Not everyone operates like you bud. Don't assume me or anyone hates a fighter cause they beat one of their countryman or favorite fighters.

Who the hell praises a fight with Clottey involved then tries to **** on Gamboa vs Perez?

Gamboa is a top fighter fighting a guy who is ranked like 50th. Clottey hasnt even fought in years and is fighting a guy who is top 20 at 154. Perez is a complete **** fight, and you know that. This is a WAY better match up in every possible way

Gamboa a top fighter? There's a difference between being and having potential to be. Gamboa is debuting at 135 and both him and Perez looked like **** in their previous fights. They tried to get Burgos and Vazquez and obviously didn't work out.

Gamboa vs Perez and Nelson vs Clottey are no different. Only a person with an agenda would praise one and **** on the other. That's for sure but do you man.

If anyone here is mad its you. You're mad that Gamboa is juicing and still fighting on HBO. Deal with it. Hopefully Perez knocks him so you can stop being so bitter.

for the record, i don't think this is an awful fight for gamboa. it's certainly not an hbo/showtime main event, but i'm not going to complain too much. it's better than the poor kid sitting on the shelf, and it's certainly better than his last fight. perez isn't an awful fighter, and i've wanted to see him get a hard fight for a while, even if he's not a top talent.

gamboa's a top fighter, or at least he's been at the top. what's killing his career is the inactivity.
his wins over de leon and salido were top wins, and he won a "world title" all the way back in '09.

Gamboa did look like ****, against Farenas, a decent enough guy. He "couldnt" get a fight with the top guys so he just decided to pick the 50th ranked guy? That makes sense

It is different because it is a much better match up at 154 in every possible way. Nelson has beat decent fighters and is top 20 at 154, please tell me who he can fight whos better then Nelson at 154 anyway

Gamboa used to be one of my favorite fighters. Now he's a cherry picking roider, and you support his **** fights because he's cuban

It is an awful fight for Gamboa. People complained about Golovkin fighting Ishida in a stay busy fight but his kid couldnt even hold Ishida's jock strap. The reason he hasnt fought top fighters is because he cant beat him. He's taking the Salita route, fight bums, get that record nice and shiny until some cherry picker or sanctioning body gives you a shot. And its worked
