Whats wrong with boxing?

There is a difference between running, and boxing using lateral movement while boxing off the back foot.

There is a difference between hugging and tying up an opponent who's inside fighting strengths are superior to your's; or tying up to mentally frustrate a fighter who hasnt mastered the tricks needed to avoid being tied up to halt his momentum. You also tie up a fighter to reduce the space he or she needs to get off shots, is that hugging or effective use of the tricks to the trade?

Oh yea. Last I heard, the jab is the MOST under-utilized weapon in the sport of Boxing; but also the most effective tool needed to establish ring generalship, which last time I checked was part of the big 3 in scoring criteria. So whats wrong with the jab being utilized?

I dont get the idea that Trout is a runner either. For example in the Cotto fight when Cotto was coming forward Trout went backwards, when Cotto went backwards Trout went forwards... Its called 'boxing' instead of 'fighting' for reason!
