that said, his two fights with hopkins were both close, and nobody can call them a robbery, even if there's a lot of people who think taylor didn't win.

taylor had a very heavy jab (the thing was flippin loud, he just stopped throwing it once he hit the top..) rambunctious right hand, and a pretty good left hook.

Well said. Sealed the deal for me in the Pavlik rematch which was a close fight but there was no passion from him at the post fight presser...he didn't care that he lost. I knew he's heart wasn't in it from then.

Not sure if I'm the only one, but I had Taylor beating Pavlik in the 2nd fight.

Jermaine had a great powerful jab too. I remember him stopping Froch and Hopkins dead in their tracks with a thudding jab. I think they were hurt. And those two have granite chins.

His stamina was terrible! He would beast it the first 6-8 rounds and it would go all down hill from there. He has a pretty good resume even with the L's he has taken.

This is why "putting it all together" is a RARE RARE FEAT. Some flaws are just too much to overcome. Taylor is a perfect example of that.

Pavlik wasn't even close to being stopped. The rematch was pretty clear-cut aswell, 8-4 Pavlik, Taylor didn't do enough to win that fight, you can't fight on the back foot the whole fight and get out-thrown vs the the champion and expect to get the nod.

As for the Froch fight, most had Froch a point head after the knockdown in the 12th, he was never close to beating Froch, Froch earned that knockout like a true champion.

Taylor was a very gifted athlete but had bad stamina issues sadly.

this doesn't make sense. most people had taylor way ahead like 7-4 with a knockdown. how does froch scoring a knockdown make him ahead by a point?

If only Hearns had a granite chin
If only Khan has a granite chin
If only De La Hoya had more stamina
If only Calzaghe had 1 punch power

Actually most at the fight/ringside had it either a draw with the knockdown or Froch a point ahead.

Eitherway it's irrelevant when you look at what happened, that wasn't a fluke K.O that was a well earned stoppage, Froch was utterly relentless for all of that round, he earned the K.O like a champ.
