Can anyone explain why Manny deserve so much more money than Marquez.

Pretty simple:

1) Manny has a better record than Marquez by far.

2) He has a personality that is easily likeable to the public, and he is a countries national treasure.

3) He is the only eight division world champion, which is something he can hold proud above the rest.

4) He is the bigger draw of the two by a fair margin.

5) A lot of people watch boxing for an aggressive fighter who can take risks, that's often not Marquez style.

Just because he KO'd Manny does not mean he automatically gains the ranking and status of him. They're both great fighters, but overall Pacquaio is clearly the more accomplished.

Marquez is absolutely right!!! Why fight someone you KTFO and be treated like a challenger when your his conquerer!!! Manny needs both Marquez and Bradley not the other way around and either of them would be very foolish to take the short end of the stick. Marquez needs to demand 60/40 or no fight and Bradley should demand at least 55/45 or no fight. Manny is NOT Oscar. Floyd was absolutely right for not taking the short end of a PBF/Oscar 2 fight. Seems Marquez is a very smart business man. Pacroidians act like Manny gave Marquez opportunities when the last 3 fights were made because nobody believed Manny really deserved those decisions. Marquez took it out of the judges hands!!!!!!!

The fights were rematched because BOTH sides didn't give spectacular decisive wins. I assume you are one of those mongs that believes Marquez won all 3 and is now suddenly a bigger star than Pacquaio. I bet you're also one of the posters who thinks Bradley actually won his fight vs pac.

Marquez if he does have an accounting degree should know that Pacquaio is screwing him royaly. It takes two to tango and since Manny cant earn the Marquez type money with anyone else outside of Floyd maybe Cotto but doubt it. I feel with the last fight and the fact that Marquez is just as big of a star as manny. The split should be even. In each of there fights it has been close. Can anyone explain why Manny deserve so much more money than Marquez. I wouldnt accept the same offer either if I was Marquez. 50/50

also you need to understand how these ppv work

lets say....pac who earned around 30m vs marquez fights a bradley who will make around 5-6m from this fight at the most, pac will most likely make very similar amounts as to what he would do with marquez, or in fact more because he will be getting the lions share

pac needs to write the wrongs, he was robbed vs bradley, ko his ass and then resume the whooping he was giving to marquez, just with a bit more respect to marquez this time. it was too easy for pac, which led him to get careless and lost him the fight

Because he's a *****. PAC made him rich and gave him multiple shots. Now that marquez got a win, he is hiding. He knows he can get ko'd by manny, so he is hiding behind his one win in four matches. Marquez would be fighting on basic cable had he not fought Manny four times.
