Comments Thread For: Arum Has Plenty of Options For Pacquiao and Marquez

Headline lies!!! Thought I was going to get a comprehensive list of opponents available to Pacquiao & Marquez except the same three names Bradley, Rios and Alvarado and please not Ruslan who doesn't stand a chance against the two alpha dogs. Putting these fellas in a unofficial round robin type scheme doesn't interest me and a waste of the last Pac & Marquez remaining years
It's my belief Arum has nobody for Pac or Marquez. If I'm missing names please let me knowComment

Well this is disappointing to me. I want to see a 5th fight more than I ever wanted to see the 3rd or 4th fights between them. I also like the idea of such an old school type of rivalry.
Bradley I suppose has to be considered.. Alvarado?.. Sure... Not really that excited though.Comment

Yeah that doesn't seem like "plenty of options to me". Thats actually very few options.
I want to see PAcman fight Bradley and redeem that loss.
That would leave Alvarado vs Marquez although I don't really like that fight but I guess Alvarado deserves it.Comment

Pacquiao should rematch Bradley and beat his ass up again. Then Fight JMM and beat him up real bad. And when its all said in done...we can listen to more reasons why Floyd wont fight him.
It would be a nice way to ride out. Two redemption fights and then retire with Mayweathers cherry picking 0!Comment

Marquez if he does have an accounting degree should know that Pacquaio is screwing him royaly. It takes two to tango and since Manny cant earn the Marquez type money with anyone else outside of Floyd maybe Cotto but doubt it. I feel with the last fight and the fact that Marquez is just as big of a star as manny. The split should be even. In each of there fights it has been close. Can anyone explain why Manny deserve so much more money than Marquez. I wouldnt accept the same offer either if I was Marquez. 50/50NEW YORK — Bob Arum seemingly has become more comfortable with the thought of Juan Manuel Marquez facing someone other than Manny Pacquiao in his next fight.
Marquez remains committed to the stance that he doesn’t want to oppose Pacquiao for the fifth time because he won their fourth fight so convincingly Dec. 8 in Las Vegas, where he knocked Pacquiao unconscious with a right hand in the sixth round.
The Mexican legend’s dilemma, of course, is that he would earn much more for Marquez-Pacquiao V than for any other fight. The four-division champion is 39, too, and would weaken his bargaining position if he loses to another fighter before agreeing to box Pacquiao again. [Click Here To Read More]Comment
