Now is this the brother that went to jail so Canelo didn't have to?

Yeah there is no revenge story going on here. Just Team Canelo hyping up the fight. Canelo basically admitted to it a couple of weeks back.

I think that Trout has a point. If Canelo wanted to get revenge on who beat his brother then he would have sought out Trout right after his brother lost the fight. Maybe, he means that this fight has more meaning since Trout beat his brother but Canelo is making it seem like this fight is solely based on that. That is simply not true. Trout was the best option at that time so he took the fight. Canelo is going to beat his ribs up and stop him either way. Trout has slim shot at outboxing him, VERY SLIM.

Rigoberto is just below an average fighter, no special skills, that Trout won every round of the bout...where's the revenge in that???

                      I wouldn't say Trout's much of a poker player

To be fair, that cringeworthy phone call between Canelo and his brother probably blew a bigger hole in the 'revenge' story than Trout did.

"Do you remember what I promised you?"

                      "How could I forget."

"That I would win for you?"

                      "Yes."
