Gamboa does fine in S. Fla. I've been to most of his fights here, last one vs Walter Estrada. It was unbelievable the amount of support he receive from fans.
Mainstream promoters have different motives to keep promoting where they do. Let's not blame it on the "bad fans".

Perez doesnt even hit that hard, if he decides to throw. Have you actually seem some of his fights, especially his fight vs the small Uzbek on FNF last fall? He was saved by a KD, otherwise he would have lost. People look at a sparkly record and full of bums and call it a good "fight''. This shouldnt go anywhere above FNFs

Crappy fight. I liked a lot more a fight with two proven fighters like Burgos and Vazquez. IMO this is just a waste of time for Gamboa.
