When Robert Helenius, 19-0, beat Dereck Chisora in December of 2011 he won the vacant EBU heavyweight title but then he suffered a bad hand and shoulder injury that took almost a year to heal. He thus relinquished the title and stablemate Kubrat Pulev won it by knocking out Alexander Dimitrenko (after Chisora had moved on to fight Vitali Klitschko). Because Robert Helenius has that chronic injury and Edmund Gerber has turned out to be mediocre, they need another good heavyweight.

I saw a twitter rumor that Boytsov-Pulev is in the works for June, but it's difficult to believe it will happen.
