I understand the seriousnes of his crimes, but it's still a harsh sentence IMO. But then, the American judicial system is pretty fucked up in general.

I take my hat off to the American justice sentence - put your yourself in the shoes of the person whose children where in the car when some gun totting idiot snatches them from you and the fear that person went through and it seems like the only reason someone did'nt get shot or killed is because the gun malfunctioned - stop making excuses for criminals the European justice system is ****ed up just take a look over here in the UK at the pathetic sentincing of the Baby P killers the Bolger killers who have been giving new ID's and still committing crimes yet everyone seems to be bending over backwards for these scum - good on the judge lets send a message crime does'nt pay and lets add another 100 years onto his sentence.-People stop playing the race card this is now becoming tideous and run its course.

It has been eight years since Clifford Etienne last fought, and it has been seven years since the former heavyweight fighter was found guilty of several serious criminal charges.

That case had ended with Etienne being sentenced to 160 years in prison. That punishment was lowered last week — but he could still end up spending the rest of his life behind bars.

Last week, a judge ordered that Etienne will instead spend 105 years in prison, according to Louisiana newspaper The Advocate.

The European judicial system is too soft in many countries, I agree on that.
