Sergio Martinez was calling Pac out at 154 back then and so was Paul Williams, Roach and Arum knew Pac would lose easily to both, so they took the easier fight.

Margarito was ranked and it was just to say that he got a title but the intentions wasn't to continue at 154 because Manny had trouble making 147! Manny stated it during the training camp. There are a few of you in this thread that brought up that Margarito was a cheat or that Manny fought a cheat ....

As for Mosley, he could have still done it and cycled off or used something that is not detectable .... look at Lance Armstrong. He passed the tests with flying colors ... and in boxing where it's more relaxed especially considering that testing was done only close to the fight NOT for the rest of the year.

As for your excuse, its just that, an excuse that even Floyd himself used a while back ..... he said, I knew there was a reason why I shouldn't fight Margarito and now I found out what that reason was ..... WHAT FLOYD????

Who else on the WBC welterweight rankings did you want installed as the mandatory? Abregu? I think Ghost is completely out of his element here, and it's a **** fight but you can't argue Guerrero doesn't deserve his status as mandatory. It's a stay busy fight, hardly a cherry pick.

The question is how he became a mandatory and more pertinent one is how important is being mandated by some bent sanctioning body that makes the rules up to suit its own agenda and bank balance anyway?
