You think so? I think its the formatting as well as the author picking sound bytes to include in the article. I don't think this interview is word for word, some of it probably comes from an interview, other parts are probably from different days.Floyd sounds doubtful of himself....he is just all off in this lead-up. Talking about bad days in the gym and not knowing how he is going to perform, the sport has been good to him. He is going to slug it out and is ready to take a beating and I think his love for the sport is greatly diminished.....is Floyd ready to pass the torch?Comment

Are you referring to Guerrero's first fight in 15 months after shoulder surgery and moving up 2 divisions without a tuneup? He did win that fight, took the champ's belt and handed Aydin his first loss. I remember plenty of people swearing Aydin was gonna knock Guerrero's head off before the fight.......now it seems that performance was garbage.People all agree that Floyd is no Berto. Guerrero's shakiness and instability was exposed by Aydin. That was mostly an outside fight and Guerrero was unable to impose an inside game. Floyd is no Aydin either.
This could possibly a KO by Floyd. A mismatch as I've been saying.
Same type of stuff was said before the Berto fight too, "Guerrero is too small, too slow, too weak." "Berto is gonna knock him out in 3 rounds."
People forget that Guerrero had been actively seeking a Floyd fight and calling him out for two years straight while others sit idly by waiting for a money fight to drop in their laps.
If you want a fight with Mayweather in May, the best two things you can have in your favor is being of Hispanic decent and calling him out.Comment

Maybe...that would explain it because I've NEVER heard Floyd talk like that. The whole thing reeked of insecurity and self-doubt........sounded like Cotto before the Trout fight and we saw how that turned out.Comment

You sure about that?Floyd was 151 on weigh in day! When was the last time Sergio fought below 157? I'll wait... and since Sergio doesn't have a problem with weight how come he doesn't ask Ward for a FOUR pound catch weight of 164?? Or is Martinez ***** of Ward??
So is Ward too big for Sergio?? Which they are ONE weight class apart? If you say yes smack yourself! And don't use weight as an excuse because he fought Chavez who is known for coming in 180 plus on fight night did he not?? Which is more than Ward on fight night!
So if Ward is too big for Sergio! Than Sergio is too big for Floyd! Now lets hear your excuse now

Gonna be vs Cotto but continuedOriginally posted by charliegI think he has to be aggressive. If he just holds back, Guerrero could steal it on activity.
