dunno about JMM ever issuing a challenge on both Barrera and Morales, but fact is - they never fought him cuz, as you just said, he's a difficult style match-up, this i agree.


after the Chris John fight, JMM is finally free of his contractual obligations with Top Rank, from what i've been reading - HBO will most likely sign Juan Manuel Marquez and line big PPV fights for him like this proposed Morales fight and perhaps Barrera.

HBO signing JMM? if pac can't get a contract with HBO, then i guess JMM is not going to get it...

anyway, if this really goes on, i would love to see this one

well, that's your opinion and i respect that. remember that it was Nacho who priced his fighter out of the Pac rematch, not JMM himself - defnitely one hell of a good prize fighter

boxrec is a joke... at first i really looked at the site for reliable info but lately they have been jerks...

JMM is a good fighter, great even... but not a prizefighter if we base it on HBO's PPV scales... he is not a draw...

i am not saying i am better than them but they have been very silly lately...

as for the draw... yes, audiences were mostly mexicans alright.. hoping for pac to be whipped, to avenge MAb... but not to root exactly for JMM... and if he was a draw, then look at the number of his audiences without pac... low

Raheem would certainly beat Morales again, there's no question.

But Marquez is a very smart fighter and could easily study and adapt Raheem's strategy on schooling Erik.

Morales will be 0-2 against JMM and Z-Man, IMO.

Morales should just stick to the sluggers like Manny, in which he has a very good chance of winning. Morales isn't aggressive enough to fight a master boxer & counter puncher.

morales should have had a rematch with raheem right away, it looks like he doesnt want it with raheem. i dont blame him, he was blown out....


i want em to win, only because i want raheem to beat him again to prove that erik wasnt on the downside of his career and that raheem is the superior fighter.
