IMO, JMM versus erik would generate much interest because they are great fighters... i'ts realy good to know that JMM is going after the big dogs at 130 and not staying at 126 where he has no worthy opponent...

JMM has issued word before that he wants barera or morales but neither of the two wanted the fight because JMM has a difficult style... now, if this fight pushes through, then this will be a battle... i would like to see this than barrera-JMM of barrera-morales 4...

dunno about JMM ever issuing a challenge on both Barrera and Morales, but fact is - they never fought him cuz, as you just said, he's a difficult style match-up, this i agree.


after the Chris John fight, JMM is finally free of his contractual obligations with Top Rank, from what i've been reading - HBO will most likely sign Juan Manuel Marquez and line big PPV fights for him like this proposed Morales fight and perhaps Barrera.
