Only one of those listed was/is Top 10 at 160.

In Chavez's defense(never thought I say that one) Rubio and Lee were both top ten in the division at the time of their fights with Jr.

So he's fought Rubio, Lee, Martinez, and now Barker or Vera.

Outside of the fact that he's probably not being tested in Texas, these are good fighters. I guess it's time to start giving Chavez a little bit of respect.

He's got some respect but it'd help if he wasn't such a garbage fighter and if he was a lot more disciplined. He's never in a boring fight though and I'll be rooting for him.

Chavez Jr used to be a side show attraction. The fact that he can beat anyone even in the top 100 now is an absolute miracle. I still don't understand how they were able to get him to beat John Duddy.

duddy was a terrible fighter who never beat anyone ranked in his career and lost to guys like billy lyell and walid smichet. popularity does not equal talent.
