Robert Garcia believe HBO broadcast team is biased

HBO is biased but so is Robert Garcia who actually had a horse in the race. So while its true, it means jack **** coming from him. Doesn't make his opinion on what was going on during that fight anymore credible than Roy, Lampley, Kellerman or Lederman.

they've always been like that, although not during every fight
if they have a stake in a fighter, it will show
all announcers let some bias show at some point, nature of the beast
but what they say can't sway your eyesight, so who cares?
personally, only Lennox has tarnished fights during the show

Normally I would agree with Garcia..But the past few weeks they've done a much better job imo..I have no complaints about the way the Rios Alvarado fight was called..I thought it was an improvement..

Rios doesn't speak Spanish dude. Rio's Spanish is as good as a gringos. **** was more for show then anything.

I remember watching a telecast of an old fight of his in Mexico and after the fight was over the interviewer spoke to him in Spanish and he shook his head saying he doesn't know how to speak spanish.

But over time he has said he's been learning spanish in some ESnews videos after that fight and actually spoke some but read in the comment section that it was pretty bad spanish but still he is trying.

You'd like to think that most sensible observers can see this complaining about 'bias' for what it is.

All these fighters and trainers have no problem with the media until they actually receive some criticism, after which the media become the scum of the earth.

It's as bad as celebrities who gleefully accept all the praise and exposure they get from TV and magazines for their entire careers, yet when they fuck up they say the media's 'attacks' on them are outrageous.

If the media have the freedom to kiss your ass, they have the freedom to kick your ass as well. You have to take the rough with the smooth and crying about the rough is just hypocrisy.
