    Kessler went straight off for surgery afterwards.

    It's common knowledge he wanted to withdraw, but Warren offered his manager Morgens Palle more money to continue with the bout.

    I remember it well, because he took his dad away with to recouperate. I think it was a broken metacarple or whatever.

            it's been several yrs, of course Joe fought a better Kessler
            but if Froch wins, it's hardly because Kessler is damaged goods
            he already rightfully beat him closely in the 1st fight
            Froch's been on a tear, sans the loss to Ward, which isn't embarrassing
