So the only way a Cotto-Castillo fight happens this spring is if its in March and not February, leaving February still vacant on Showtime. If for soem reason Castillo fought Cotto on March 4th, it'd be a definite tough call on whether to watch that fight live or the Lacy fight live. Either way, both would get DVR'd

and if we can't have those fights, i wish the promoters set-up Mayweather Jr. and Hatton together in the same card fighting their mandatories, they should win these and that would set-up their megabuck showdown later, perhaps by the 2nd quarter of this year.

It's amazing how some of you fail to understand guys like Cotto or Hatton aren't just going to drop their plans and fight Castillo. These guys are professional and fight for big money, not peanuts.

Now fighters who could fill in who are not scheduled are Maussa and Witter, but even they have a certain status that they don't want to lose by being ill prepared against a championship fighter who has been in long training. Then Castillo has protect his rep to maximize the monies when he does face Corrales.

Probably it will be a tune up fight against a top 50 jr welt.
