It sucks that they pointed that gun to his head when they were negotiating the fight. It's kind of BS because he had no choice to fight anyone else or anything.

Plus not to mention he had the disadvantage of carrying all that extra weight on fight night. He probably had to carry 15 more pounds around than Floyd. Floyd should have had to wear a 15 pound backpack to make the fight even.

As history showed with Manny, Canelo's team knew that if Canelo refused to fight at a CW then they knew that he would not get a fight. Then years later, you and other Floyd fans would be saying that Canelo refused to fight in 2013, so don't blame Floyd for now for refusing to fight ......

Basically, Canelo's only true advantage was taken away from him when he had to lose extra weight. Even though both held titles at 154 .......

BTW, you can gain back weight for fight night, but losing the extra weight can affect you. Canelo said that was the hardest part of training camp ..... losing the weight.

Margarito wasn't a better fighter than Canelo at the time he fought Pacquiao. He had just got done getting his ass kicked by Mosley (right before he was cheat trying to cheat by the way) and coming off of a year long ban from the sport.
